Spring Fling Fundraiser: April 8, 2017

This Spring, we were thrilled to work with one of the high schools in the area for their annual fundraising event at The Landing 1841 in Burlington, WI. The theme was Spring Fling, which was perfect for the almost 70-degree day in April!

We had a lot of fun coming up with the menu, as we wanted to offer something that was light enough for a warm day, but that everyone would really love.

For appetizers, we decided on a fresh vegetable display with a spinach dill dip and a cheese display with a variety of crackers.

The main course featured a plated fresh garden salad with Italian dressing, spice rubbed chicken breast with fresh chili herb topping, tenderloin tips in red wine mushroom sauce, garlic smashed potatoes,  and roasted carrots with brussels sprouts. With this meal, we were able to bring some of the colors of Spring onto the plate.

Dessert, which is always our favorite, was a black forest torte with mixed berry topping.
