Slow Cooker Style: Soups & Stews

Now that the cold weather has finally set in, it’s time to break out the slow cookers and fill your home with the scent of delicious soups and stews that will warm you right up! Not only are they easy to make, they’re also relatively healthy, and they make great leftovers throughout the week. Take a look at some of our favorite recipes from around the web:

This Tuscan Chicken Stew from Sweet Peas and Saffron combines healthy ingredients like carrots, celery,  and potatoes to make a mouthwatering dish you’ll want to make again and again.

Make this Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup from Little Spice Jar with ingredients you probably already have in your fridge. It’ll warm you right up!

This Jamaican Brown Chicken Stew from Immaculate Bites is as tasty and delicious as it sounds. With green and red bell peppers, you can serve it with rice to make a meal!

Barley is one of our favorite ingredients for Fall and Winter since it reminds us of a home-cooked, comforting meal. This Beef Barley Soup from The Food Charlatan is bound to do the same for you!
We love the flavors in this Sausage, Spinach, and White Bean Soup from Damn Delicious. The best part? The only cooking you really have to do is the sausage! Everything else just gets thrown in the slower cooker!
Last, but not least, is this Coconut Curry Beef Stew from Manila Spoon. Coconut is one of those ingredients that, in our opinion, makes everything better!
